Re: Raymond J. Meyer, MD becomes partner in Rezin Orthopedic Centers, S.C.
Morris, IL Outstanding medical performance and commitment to the Joliet, Morris and Ottawa communities have earned Rezin Orthopedic Centers, S.C. physician Raymond J. Meyer, MD admission to partnership and the role of Vice President.
Dr. Meyer becomes the first orthopedic surgeon to partner with Keith M. Rezin, MD, the Centers' President. Dr. Rezin started the burgeoning orthopedic practice in 1991 in Morris, IL. The practice now consists of five physicians, ten therapists, and fifty staff members with offices in Morris, Ottawa, Joliet, Sandwich and Streator. ROCSC provided care to over 3,800 new patients in 1999.
Prior to joining Rezin Orthopedic Centers, S.C., Dr. Meyer completed a fellowship in Sports Medicine at the Minneapolis Sports Medicine Center where he helped care for professional athletes of the Minnesota Timberwolves and Minnesota Vikings.
Dr. Meyer grew up in Joliet, Illinois, and is a graduate of Joliet Catholic Academy. After obtaining his undergraduate degree from the University of Iowa, he received his medical training at Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine in Chicago. For his orthopedic internship and residency, Dr. Meyer attended the Northwestern University Medical School, also in Chicago.
Dr. Meyer joined Rezin Orthopedic Centers, S.C. in 1997. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons. His sports medicine education and extensive knowledge and research in shoulder reconstruction complement his general orthopedic talent. Dr. Meyer is the team physician for Joliet Catholic Academy, and sees patients at ROCSC's Joliet, Morris, and Ottawa clinics.
The physicians and staff of Rezin Orthopedic Centers, S.C. provide orthopedic care and services to Grundy, La Salle, Livingston, Kendall and Will Counties.
