Rezin Orthopedics and Sports Medicine jointly owns and operates a fully staffed, state-of-the art ambulatory surgical center for outpatient surgery with area surgeons and Morris Hospital. Our surgery center is ideal for surgery, like minimally invasive procedures and arthroscopic surgery, which do not require an overnight hospital stay. This means patients arrive at our surgery center on the day of the surgery, undergo the surgical procedure in an operating room, and recuperate in the comfort of their own home.

Deerpath Orthopedic Surgical Center uses a surgical solution called “laminar flow” that assists in the prevention of infection. The “laminar flow” process forces clean air over the surgical setting, reducing the ability of airborne contamination of the sterile field. This new technology is being used in major surgical facilities like Rush/Presbyterian and University of Illinois and is not available in any area hospitals.
