Dr. Jason T. Franklin graduated from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine, Midwestern University in Downers Grove in 1998, and completed his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Northwestern University Medical School, Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago in 2002. After residency he completed an additional year of training in spinal diagnostics at Kaiser Permanente. |
Dr. Franklin joined Rezin Orthopedics and Sports Medicine as its first physiatrist in 2003. He is board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation and his practice is focused on lower back and spine problems. He performs minimally invasive, fluoroscopically guided lumbar procedures, including epidural steroid injections, zygapophysial injections, medical branch blocks, radio frequency ablation, discograms and IDETs. Dr. Franklin also performs EMGs, NCS, (to help diagnose things such as carpal tunnel syndrome) fluoroscopically guided hip, shoulder and sacroiliac arthrograms.
In his free time, Dr. Franklin enjoys spending time traveling, snowboarding and playing tennis.
Dr. Franklin holds clinic at the Morris, Joliet, and Ottawa locations.
