At Rezin Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, we undertake a comprehensive approach to treating spinal conditions. This includes coordinated efforts by our fellowship-trained spine surgeon and by our physical medicine and pain management physician. Our spine specialist has extensive experience in treating complex spinal conditions such as spinal fractures, tumors, and adult and pediatric scoliosis. The vast array of nonsurgical interventions are employed including physical therapy, epidural steroid injections, paravertebral facet joint injections and sacroiliac joint injections. When surgery is necessary, our spine specialist provides state-of-the-art techniques and minimally invasive approaches, when appropriate, to obtain outstanding clinical results.

Rezin Orthopedics and Sports Medicine has a board-certified physician specializing in physical medicine and rehabilitation, and a conservative approach is emphasized in caring for a wide variety of spinal issues including sciatica, herniated disks, spinal stenosis, and other degenerative conditions in the neck and back. Our physiatrist treats injuries ranging from sore shoulders to spinal cord injuries, disorders of the back or neck, acute and chronic pain, and musculoskeletal disorders, with the focus on restoring function to the patient and reduction of pain. When indicated, we employ electrodiagnostic testing (EMG/NCV), physical diagnostics, and various imaging studies. Each patient undergoes an individualized rehabilitation program in order to achieve their maximal functional potential. Our goal is to expedite the restoration of function to enable the patient to participate in gainful employment, take part in recreational sports and enjoy a quality life with family and friends.
